A new art exhibit is having its North American debut at the Detroit Zoo. Beginning today (Sept. 23rd, 2010), guests can view over 80 works of Inuit art in a new exhibition titled Expressions of Arctic Tradition: Contemporary Inuit Art. The exhibit, displaying artwork of seals, whales, polar bears, birds and other arctic animals, runs today through January 16th, 2011 in the Ford Education Center.
