So I have heard now that Favre will sign with Minnesota. Will he play? Do we care if he does? He has bounced in and out of retirement so much, I'm getting dizzy. He originally retired as a cheese-head legend. And while I am not a Packer fan, I did respect him as a player and as a person. And when he decided to retire so he could spend time at home with his wife and little girls, I was happy for him. He led a great career, and now he can enjoy family life.

But instead of spending time with his girls as they grow up, he is instead trying to get back into pro-football. I understand he loves the game and wants to play. I understand how hard it is to walk away from a career you hold so dear to your heart. But there comes a time when you have to do just that.

I believe he should stay retired and be there for his family. His daughters will never know their father if he continues to travel all of the time with whatever team he plays with.
